Kung Fu Panda 2 & Puss in Boots

I’ve been to quite a few film festivals but never to the Cannes Film Festival. It was always on my list of things I wanted to attend and this year I could check it off my list. Paramount sent me to the South of France for Kung Fu Panda 2 and a sneak preview of Puss in Boots.  Getting to be at the famed festival and interview Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jack Black as well as Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek was such a thrill.

We stayed at the Carlton Cannes, which is only the most prestigious hotel on the water and also home to all of the main talent mentioned above and attending the festival.

On the Carlton Pier in front of our hotel was a red carpet event for Puss in Boots where I interviewed the cast, music was blaring and all the paparazzi was on hand. Plus Director Chris Miller had drinks with us all and struck a pose later that evening.

The best definition I can give for this city is just that it is oozing with glamour. Women dressed to the nines, men in tuxedos roaming the streets at night. The famous red stairs and beautiful beaches… Cannes is definitely somewhere I know need to frequent!
